There is a Development Application (DA) listed for the placement of a Telstra 21m Telecommunications Tower in Violet McKenzie Park, the park behind the Campbell Shops.
Comments are now open for feedback on the DA and close on 30 September 2026.

This tower will be taller than the tower recently installed next to the Foothills development on Limestone Avenue and the surrounding infrastructure will be slightly smaller. (pictured image) The details are in the documents on the webpage.
In particular, the Development Outcomes document includes images showing the proposed location and positioning of the tower. Other documents provide maps of the site and information about the reasons for the proposed development.
We encourage you to take a look at the proposal and, if you have a view about it, consider submitting your own comment before the 30 September deadline. You can comment on whatever aspects of the proposal are relevant to you, whether you support it, have concerns about it, or would like further information.
